About The Yak-41M "Freestyle" was a Mp3 Sound Effect
The Yak-41M "Freestyle" was a supersonic VTOL naval aircraft which first flew in 1987. it was powered by a Tumansky R-79V-300 afterburning turbofan engine with a vectoring nozzle along with two RD-41 turbojets facing downwards for VTOL operations. An interesting detail about the main R-79V-300 engine is it ability be vectored up to 90° downwards and still keep afterburning thanks to the design of the nozzle and a movable cover which also acts as an airbrake. The maximum speed achieved during flight testing was 1800km h at an altitude of 11.000 meters. Four airframes were built out of which only two were flight-rated. The first one was Izdelie 48-0, which was unmarked and used purely for static structural testing. The second, Izdelie 48-1 was marked "48" in yellow and was used for ground based tests only. The third, Izdelie 48-2 was marked "75" in white, this was the first ever Yak-141 that took to the skies. In 1992 this aircraft was repainted in a naval camouflage scheme and given the bort number "141", famously making an appearance at the Farnborough airshow. The fourth and final prototype, Izdelie 48-3 was marked "77" in white and was used for carrier trials. Sadly, it crashed on the 5th of October 1991 after which it was restored, repainted as white "75" and put on display at the Yakovlev OKB museum. Many of you might have seen this aircraft depicted as having an IRST and radar in video games, but this is untrue. None of the four prototypes had an IRST or radar installed, however, it is safe to assume that the radar would have been a variant of the N010 Zhuk modified to have a smaller antenna, while the IRST would have been an OEPS-29. The built-in armament of this aircraft was a 30mm GSh-30-1 with 150 rounds of ammunition, while the suspended air-to-air armament was comprised of R-27, R-73 and R-77 missiles which could all be launched with the use of the pilot's helmet mounted sight. Ultimately the project was abandoned due to the Soviet Union collapsing and high development costs. #warthunderplanes #warthundervideo #warthunder #aircraft #soviet #aviationdaily #aviationlovers #aviation #avgeek #history #plane #planes #army #soldier #Military #viral #fyp #mikoyan #mig #ussr #yakThe Yak 41M "Freestyle" Was A Sound Effects Free Download.
