It leans heavily into East Asian mythos again, with characters and bosses pulled from Journey to the West and Buddhist folklore. It’s loud, flashy, and smoother thanks to IGS’s PGM2 hardware. Honestly, it looks great. But the pacing? Weird. Cutscenes zip by like they’re on fast-forward, and then score tallies crawl slower than a monk’s walk. The bosses hit like trucks, the screen gets messy fast, and while it's polished, it's also exhausting. Even with all that style, it’s a grind.
