Throw on some headphones for this Re-Sound Designed #Kaijuno8 scene I mixed in Dolby Atmos using only @sansound3 SANWEAR–GT earbuds for the entire process. The binaural version of the Atmos mix works best on headphones. I spent some time designing a lot of original assets for this redesign! The kaiju roars, the energy swords/ machine guns being the main ones designed mostly from scratch. I’d love to hear your thoughts! I think there is some room for improvement and a few moments that could have done with more layers to flesh it out. But I was still happy with the scene overall. My favorite part to automate was the electricity during the weapon charge up– I ended up making a ton of breakpoints so the objects jumped around the listener’s head.
