There are times when the doubt in healing creeps in, and it’s a really hard place to be in! This is what I did to get out of the emotional spiral: 1. I inhaled recovery stories to reinstate my belief. If they’ve done it, so can we! 2. I let myself feel all the ‘ugly’ emotions and pain. It’s important to identify it and act it out to get it out of your system! But make sure to not let it take over and linger (I definitely festered in my sadness for longer) 3. I asked myself what my soul truly craves to get into a ventral vagal state (it was stupid carefree silliness). Access it whatever way is possible for your energy! 4. I worked to release the fear I had around my symptoms (journaling and yoga nidra) and approach them with curiosity (affirmation: my symptoms are nothing to be feared, just something to be discovered) After this, I was back in a positive mindstate and able to reflect with clarity. I remembered that healing is possible and this was not a set back or anything to be feared!! If you beleive you can heal, don’t let anyone take that away from you. This is your journey and you know what’s true for you.
