It has been a journey I’ve been thankful for at every step—not only because of the privilege that it is to make art, but because of the people I’ve been able to make it with. With Immersed, I set out to make a record for immersive audio from the ground up, but it became something much larger: a synthesis of art, technology, and community. This album is a reflection of all of my life experiences to date, musical and beyond, and it is my deepest honour to share it with the world. This album features 38 artists from Toronto and around the world. Their artistic voices are the very core of this record. Their work is woven into the very fabric of this album, and I could not have dreamed of doing it without them. This music was made to be experienced as an album.
