🥺🙏💕Yesterday was our last day on tour. We played 17 performances in just a little over a month. Wow wow wow, what a whirlwind... As we stepped off stage in Atlanta and walked back into the green room, I was filled with tears, gratitude, and sadness (because it’s over 😢). I don’t think I even have all the words yet to express what a gift it has been to meet so many of you and play music for you and your families (live!). Thank you for coming to the shows, for singing and dancing along, for cheering for the political bits in our songs, for making noise and banging pots for Palestine, for waiting in line to meet me and Catho. 🥹 WE are so lucky to have met all of you. Thank you to the families who built their day around coming to the show, piling into the car, navigating parking and strollers, maybe even skipping nap time 😅… Thank you to the families who flew and drove from other states to come see us- I cannot even comprehend it. ✈️🚙 We are so incredibly moved by you. I feel so lucky to have the most amazing team who made all of this possible: So much gratitude to my manager Chris and tour manager (TM) Sal for sending countless emails to finalize dates and secure logistics. Thank you both for coming to the shows with so much joy and energy, for keeping us hydrated, snapping photos and slinging merch🙏 Thank you to the venues and their staff. It truly takes a village to make these shows happen, from the person who mops the floor before families arrive to the sound and lighting people who helping us bring the show to life. 🙏 And this one’s a biggie: Thank you to my best friend of 10 years, my collaborator, producer, and hype guy, Catho. 💕 I am constantly blown away by your ability to show up with me in this work. I treasure the perspective you bring and the way you help keep me grounded in it all. I love you so much. There’s a lot of grief in the world right now, and it is such a privilege to offer even a moment of joy through live music. To share that joy with you and see that joy in you while singing, dancing, and laughing together. thank you thank you thank you.
