About Artificial Birds and a Mountain Mp3 Sound Effect
Artificial Birds and a Mountain River - Full Version. I was able to visit Chaukhi Valley and extended its natural soundscape with my artificial birds. These particular creatures have been made out of different sounds such as acoustic piano, rusty globe from an abandoned Japanese hotel and Serge modular synthesizer. Each dictaphone has its own unique tape with a generative bird song. I made these songs using my own M4L devices: Nevada Tape Manipulator and Hachijo Tape Manipulator. Everything was recorded on Wildtronics Parabolic Microphone and Zoom F6. This experiment was filmed back in July 2022. I’ve already posted some fragments of the performance.
