Use This Prayer Before You Eat 🙏 Before I eat, I pray. Not out of routine—but out of respect. Respect for the body God gave me. Respect for the discipline I’ve been called to walk in. And honestly... to help protect me from going back to old habits that once had a grip on me… I used to struggle with gluttony and binge eating. I’d eat fast. I’d eat past full. I’d eat for the high it gave me. And the next day? Bloated. Tired. Groggy. Disconnected. It wrecked my focus, my discipline, and my results. But something changed when I started inviting God to the table. 🙏 Praying before my meals helps me slow down. 🍽️ It helps me enjoy my food more—not less. 🧠 It builds mindfulness. 💪 It builds discipline. How to achieve that HOURGLASS body shape. ⏳😉💪🔥 If your goal is to achieve an hourglass body shape, you need to focus on these 2 things. 1️⃣ Nutrition For the waist to tighten up, you have to limit your intake of processed foods, increase your intake of whole foods, hit your protein goal each day, and get consistent with your calorie intake. 2️⃣ Strength Training You want to build your squats, lunges, and hip hinges to help develop the glutes. You want to build up your shoulders and back to tone strengthening your core. Remember that a perfect hourglass figure can be HARD to achieve. It’s a body shape that FEW people have naturally. DON’T be afraid of using heavier weights! 😨 If you want to tone up you NEED to build muscle. In order to build muscle you need a sufficient CHALLENGE to those muscles. Using heavier weights is a part of providing that challenge to your body. You’re not gonna get big and bulky as long as you’re controlling your calorie intake. Are your hips SUPER tight from sitting all day? Well here’s how you can decrease that tightness. 😉 Set an alarm to go off 3 to 4 times per day. Perform 1 set of the long lunge stretch where you hold the position for 10 to 30 seconds each side. The Long Lunge stretch will open up your hip flexors and hamstrings while also simultaneously strengthening those muscles. 💪 This can help balance out the tightness from sitting all day. Ever strained your shoulder reaching back for your bag? 😣 Include behind the back external rotations into your warm-up. 👌 Perform 10 to 15 reps where you touch your knuckles back behind your lower back and then externally rotate out to the sides. Keep the movement controlled and focus on keeping your elbows pinned to your sides.
