This day tour is the perfect way to experience Slovenia 🇸🇮 in one day if your staying in Zagreb, Croatia 📖 This tour by tour operator - Roundabout - can be booked through @Tripadvisor , the exact tour name is called - Ljubljana and Bled Lake - small group - day tour from Zagreb 🕣 The tour started when I met our guide and the others at 8:30 am in Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square Zagreb and then we headed out. 🛂 NOTE: Don’t forget to bring your passport since you’re crossing into a different country. 🏙️ We spent about 3 hours in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia - 1 hour walking tour with our guide and then 2 hours free time to do whatever we wanted. During our free time we visited the Nebotičnik high-rise building to see some nice panoramic views from the 12th floor cafe. We also visited the Gostilna Sokol restaurant for some excellent local Slovenia cuisine. Definitely check both of those spots out while you’re in Ljubljana. 🏞️ After Ljubljana, we drove 45 minutes to Lake Bled where we did a 1 hour visit to Bled Island by a traditional Pletna Boat. After Bled Island, we went to Bled Castle 🏰 where we spent about 1 hour and got to see some breathtaking panoramic views of the lake plus try the famous local Bled cream cake. After our visit to the castle, we started driving back and we arrived in Zagreb after 7 pm. 🚙 Mario was our guide and driver for the day and he did a fantastic job leading us on this tour so a big thank you to him 🙌 💯 If you’re in Zagreb, Croatia definitely consider doing this day tour.
