Planning a trip to Bosnia & Herzegovina? Save this quick guide I made to help you plan it based on my trip. 🗓️ Stayed 4 nights. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon and left on Wednesday morning 🏨 I stayed at the Hotel Old Sarajevo in the old town of Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Overall the hotel was good, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and was perfectly located in the heart of Old Town. 🕌 Things to do as seen in this video ⬇️ ➡️ Take a day tour from Sarajevo out to Mostar, Konjic, Blagaj, Počitelj & Kravice Falls with @Meet Bosnia Tours - Sarajevo ➡️ Also check out other day tours offered by the same tour operator mentioned above such as their tour to Travnik, Jajce, & the Pliva Waterfall + Lakes + Watermills ➡️ Explore the city of Sarajevo (especially Old Town) on your own or with tour operators such as Sarajevo Insider City Tours & Excursions and visit notable attractions including the site where the Archduke Franz Ferdinand & his wife, Sophie, were assassinated which started WW1, the Latin Bridge, the Sarajevo City Hall, the Kovači Cemetery, the Sebilj fountain, Baščaršija Square, Old Town, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, and more ➡️ Eat at these restaurants - Ćevabdžinica Petica Ferhatovic, Ćevabdžinica Hodzic, and Ćevabdžinica Mrkva in Sarajevo, Restoran Labirint in Mostar, and also Restoran OMERBEGOVA KUCA-JAJCE in Jajce 💳 Credit cards & e-payments worked out there but you need to have cash as well for many local vendors and market shopping. I withdrew all the cash I needed from the airport ATM upon arrival. Their currency as of this post is the Convertible Mark (KM) 🚗 Rideshare apps such as Uber & Bolt are not available in Sarajevo so you will need to use a local taxi to get around by car if you can’t walk. My hotel knew some local taxi drivers so I inquired with them when I needed one, I only needed one to and from the airport since my hotel was walking distance from pretty much every point of interest.
