Mill whole wheat berries into fresh flour. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 2 hours or until doubled in size. 5. Punch down the dough and divide into two greased bread pans. 6. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes, until dough reaches the top of the pans. 7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped. 8. Cool on wire racks before slicing.
