Book review by thecozytome I actually liked this book. There are certain elements that I did not like so make sure to check trigger warnings. But the story was interesting and I was invested to see it through. It ended in such a huge cliffhanger and will definitely be reading the second installment! 📚 Adeline is a successful author who has inherited her grandmothers old mansion. Some say it is haunted and others say she should avoid the place all together. She of course did not let that deter her from moving into the home she loved so dearly. It was not long when she came across journals that her great grandmother had wrote and stumbled upon a mystery from her families past. Zade Meadows found Adeline and now he is obsessed, he cannot let her go and will make her his no matter what. But Zade has dark secrets and a dangerous job and now Adeline is mixed up with dangerous people.
