I finished this trilogy last night and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the adventures, the mystery, the characters, and the storyline. Stephen king can tell a story thats for damn sure. But another thing he can do is create characters. You don't realize how important it is to build the characters until u read books like this. I grew attached to the main characters bc they were flawed but genuine. Idk how he did it but it never felt forced or like the character was made up. It felt like I could've known these ppl and sometimes I saw myself In them (not the villains, dear goodness gracious). And in each book we learned a little more about the characters. The story flowed naturally and so did the ppl in it. I think I read somewhere that Holly Gibney was just suppose to be a side character but bc ppl grew to love that character and her quirks and her genuine flaws, Stephen King created a whole book for her. I find that to be so fascinating that you could create a character and it grows on its own and you listen to ur readers and give that character a main stage. How cool is that! I've genuinely enjoyed these books and I will be reading more.
