First off, I wanna say that Aaron McGruder is a genius and that you guys should search up some of his speeches and give them a listen, even though they're from 1999-2003 there very relevant to our current times showing how history stay repeating itself. Secondly, I've been sitting in my house lately trying to decide what to post because in the times that we're in right now all of my poems feel pretentious and insensitive. So I'm just gonna say this we as Americans have taken bullsh1t from this country for a minute and I want to know when is enough finally going to be enough. I mean the government is supposed to represent the people and I DO NOT feel represented AT ALL! If you do, you can unfollow me right now. Hypothetically speaking if your current government is not representing you it is your right, no, duty to 0verthr0w that g0vernment according to the, hypothetical declaration of independence. I mean they just sit around and do whatever the hell they want and we just roll over and take it. That's why they continue to do it because they know we're not going to do anything and they're right because we have no community, no leadership, and nobody who wants to tell the truth. So yeah, I don't know what to do and it's so frustrating because you feel guilt and shame for not doing anything but there's nothing you can do. Well, that's what they want us to think so we'll just take whatever they dish but anyway, so that's why I've been missing in action but i'm gonna try to be more active on here and also, trying to be more positive. Which is hard but it's important to not let them keep you down. Community, love, and art is the biggest form of protest So keep making your art and keep smiling. Which may sound corny but it's important. This is not me telling you to choose peace or ignorance. This is me telling you to not just sit in the depression and actually do something with yourself whether that's making art, protesting, or whatever doesn't matter just do something.
