Honestly guys, horror might be my favorite genre to score for! I had so much fun writing the score for this film that I managed to finish it in three hours. I really tried to build an eerie sound palette with all the sounds at my disposal, to really capture those unsettling feelings you'd see in a score like this. The main things I used were unsettling strings, heavy percussion, eerie pads etc. Melody and harmony wise I tried to make use of dissonance at key moments, as well as cluster chords. When the tone of the film changes, I changed the instrumentation to give it a lighter sound so I could capture that feeling of relief, but I kept the same motif to build a level continuity in the score.
