Pull up a chair, friends, I’ve got a crazy story to share. Seems fitting to share it on Aug 24th. Coincidence or prophecy? You be the judge… So our first album had some very eerie coincidences surrounding it. Almost like we had channeled something strangely psychic. The year was 2019. The album was locked in the fall to be released in April 2020. The album was entitled “Good Songs for Bad Times.” The lead single was an original called “Dance Song (for the End of the World)” that began with a sample from a BBC WWII radio broadcast warning people they could no longer gather in large groups…. Eerie, right? Well, after 5 years…we just released our sophomore album featuring an obscure 1941 Irving Berlin song called “When That Man Is Dead and Gone” about a certain evil dictator…The song depicts how joyous the day will be when we finally hear “the news….” Now I’m not saying we are psychic, but I do believe artists have the ability to occasionally tap into something higher than our normal consciousness. Coincidence or will this album also prove to be eerily prophetic….? Regardless - hope you dig.
