July sucked. Was in bed with pneumonia all month, had a tour get canceled (first time ever happened). All while watching our country descend into yet more Temu fascism. But August has brought some much-needed good vibes. Canceled tour meant I was able to join my in-laws on Hawaii trip I was otherwise going to miss. We played sold out shows in Seattle and almost sold out in Portland. (God, I love you, PNW). Our new album is finally getting us radio play. And the hit song off of it is a 1941 Irving Berlin banger called “When That Man Is Dead and Gone” which is giving people hope in these dark times. We have officially sold 101 CDs of the album (I know most don’t have a way to play CDs - but they pay us soooo much more than stupid Spotify, so we ask folks to buy them, then stream us guilt-free).
