About The story behind my 6 Mp3 Sound Effect
The story behind my 6 year old son’s whimsical bedroom makeover 🪄 I really wanted to paint his room with stripes and make it fit his wild and carefree personality. I envisioned a whimsical bedroom straight out of a story book! He wanted to paint his room red. I was nervous as I wanted to design a room that would be more timeless that I wouldn’t have to paint next year. I have 3 kids so I don’t want them to expect me to paint their room every year. I gave him a few color options. In the end we decided on teal stripes. I knew that if he saw the color and hated it, I would paint it red in a heartbeat. Luckily, he loved it!!! I recieved a lot of rude comments questioning why I didn't paint the walls red, or making assumptions about my parenting. He has not once mentioned the red paint, or that he wished I painted it red. He loves the animals, and the cozy canopy! Because, as a mom, I also know that kids change their minds all the time. Just weeks before he asked me to paint his room orange or gold 😂 He just really wanted a space that was cozy and designed specifically for him. And this room totally suits his personality.
