We kicked off #sfclimateweek with a sat morning picnic hosted by climate action club ❤️ And it was filled with great conversation and amazing people who were all eager to meet new people and make the most of what will be an insanely busy week. At the same time, this event was our lowest turnout yet (<30% attendance). And if this had happened 5 months ago, tbh i prob wouldve let self pity and anxiety (lol) get in the way of focusing on what actually matters: the fact that we’re bringing people together to build real relationships, share learnings and reflections, and collectively work towards bringing ideas to life that spark lasting change. To anyone organizing an event this climate week: if things don’t go as planned, that’s totally okay!
