Attila Ambrus (born October 6, 1967, Csíkszereda, Romania) is a former Hungarian criminal, widely known by the nickname “Whiskey Robber” 🥃🔫. During the 1990s, he became notorious for a series of bank, post office, and currency exchange robberies across Hungary. Ambrus fled Romania in 1988 by hiding beneath a train 🚂 and illegally crossing into Hungary. In Budapest, he worked a variety of jobs, including gravedigger ⚰️, zookeeper 🦁, and hockey goalkeeper 🏒 for Újpesti TE. Despite his efforts, financial difficulties pushed him toward crime.
