Strogonoff with Chicken and Rice Brazilian Style. . INGREDIENTS : * 500g chicken breasts * 2 tablespoons olive oil * 1 onion, finely chopped * 200g mushrooms, sliced * 2 tablespoons tomato paste * 1 teaspoon mustard * 1 cup heavy cream * Salt, pepper, paprika and cumin seeds to taste * 200g rice * Served with Batata Palha(crispy potatoes) from Primitive Butchers. INSTRUCTIONS: * Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onions then the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. * Add the mushrooms and cook for more 4-5 minutes. * Add the heavy cream, the tomato paste and the mustard. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and let it cook for about 5 minutes in low fire to thicken slightly. * Add 1 tablespoon of butter to avoid the heavy cream to dry. * Once the chicken stroganoff is ready, remove it from the heat. Serve hot over cooked white rice and Brazilian batata palha (crispy potato chips) to add that extra crunchy texture to this dish. Pasta Bolognese Lasagna Style🍝 - 250g lasagna slices - 300g cheese Ragu sauce: - 900g minced meat - 1 onion - 1 carrot - 1 slice of celery - 600g tomato sauce - pinch of salt, black pepper and thyme Instructions: - prepare the ragu sauce by adding the onions in a hot pan then add the minced meat and cook for a few minutes. - add the carrots and the celery and cook for more 2 minutes - add the tomato sauce - break the lasagna slices in the middle - when the ragu sauce is ready, add the lasagna slices (check the video) - cover with a lid or a tray as I do in the video to help the cooking process - leave it cooking for 20 min - add mozzarella cheese or the cheese that you prefer - your pasta bolognaise lasagne style is ready to eat. #bakedpasta #pasta #pastalover #pastapasta #pastalovers #pastarecipe #lasagna
Banoffee Pie🥧 with Dulce de Leche🤤 Ingredients⬇️ For the crust: * 200g digestive biscuits * 100g unsalted butter, melted For the toffee: * 350g Dulce de Letche from Primitive Butchers For the filling: * 3 large bananas * 300ml double cream (heavy cream) * 1 tablespoon icing sugar (confectioner’s sugar) * Cinnamon powder for dusting (optional) Instructions: * Make the Crust: * Crush the digestive biscuits or graham crackers into fine crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or by using a food processor. * Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter until well combined. * Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to compact it firmly. * Chill the crust in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set. * Assemble the Pie: * Spread the Dulce de Leche over the bottom of the crust. * Slice the Bananas: * Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds. * Layer the Bananas: * Arrange the banana slices over the dulce de leche layer in the crust, covering the entire surface. * Whip the Cream: * In a large mixing bowl, whip the double cream with icing sugar until it forms stiff peaks. * Top the Pie: * Spread the whipped cream over the bananas, covering them completely. * Chill and Serve: * Place the assembled pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until ready to serve. * Before serving, you can dust the top with cinnamon powder or grated chocolate for an extra touch. * Slice and enjoy your delicious banoffee pie!
