About Strogonoff with Chicken and Rice Mp3 Sound Effect
Strogonoff with Chicken and Rice Brazilian Style. . INGREDIENTS : * 500g chicken breasts * 2 tablespoons olive oil * 1 onion, finely chopped * 200g mushrooms, sliced * 2 tablespoons tomato paste * 1 teaspoon mustard * 1 cup heavy cream * Salt, pepper, paprika and cumin seeds to taste * 200g rice * Served with Batata Palha(crispy potatoes) from Primitive Butchers. INSTRUCTIONS: * Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onions then the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. * Add the mushrooms and cook for more 4-5 minutes. * Add the heavy cream, the tomato paste and the mustard. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and let it cook for about 5 minutes in low fire to thicken slightly. * Add 1 tablespoon of butter to avoid the heavy cream to dry. * Once the chicken stroganoff is ready, remove it from the heat. Serve hot over cooked white rice and Brazilian batata palha (crispy potato chips) to add that extra crunchy texture to this dish.
