When we harmonize ourselves body, mind and soul, and tune in to nature, we harmonize with the one song, the uni verse, and that one song sings through us, the word is made manifest. It’s like singing a beautiful song and enjoying how that feels as sound moves through you. And then birds come and join you. Then your loved ones tune in and sing with you, amplifying the harmonies. Then your neighbors join, and as harmonies grow and become more complex, all of it vibrates through you expanding and exalting, and the song of life itself becomes a mandala of the one, connecting you to the all. . We have a beautiful full moon approaching, reaching exact opposition to the Sun, its maximum fullness, August 9th, just before 1am Pacific time, where it will be in Sharavana Nakshatra, Capricorn. As the birth star of Saraswati, Shravana bestows scholarship, knowledge, dedication to the shastras, wisdom, and respect for the wise. It also relates to a deep listening, to others, but also to your own inner silence, implying a contemplative receptivity, taking “an ear to the heart” as one does in meditation.
