Born in humble beginnings to the prestigious Battlehammer clan, Lobo grew to love tinkering at a young age. While other dwarves yearned for the mines, Lobo spent many days in the mechanic's shop creating and fixing anything he could get his hands on. Lobo sparked a friendship with an older dwarf by the name of Frigg't Dunbar. They were the best of friends, spent every day together working and tinkering. Once they come of age the dwarves somewhat parted ways, Frigg't was drafted to the outer patrols outside the mountain and sometimes down in the depths to protect the city from threat of drow, druegar, and whatever trouble comes to the Mithril Hall. But Lobo had fell in love with a Lolth forsaken Drow, her name was Cheryl. The tinkering continued and one day Frigg't appeared with some schematics. Overjoyed to see his friend Lobo looked over the paperwork and quickly the two united once again and went to work. After many grueling weeks, the boys arise from the garage victorious! They were the first 2 dwarves in all the Mithril Hall to wield GUNS. And so happy with his creation, Lobo started training with his gun along with Frigg't. They spent so much time together it was as if no time had ever passed. Then the call to arms was rang, and Frigg't was sent into the underdark to beat back the druergar forces. With tears in his eye's Lobo waved farewell. All was right with the world, and a new hobby was formed. Years pass and the friends have been gotten back together, and with their ranged supremacy. Frigg't came up with the idea to start a band to roam around and fight back any threats before they're even threats. So Lobo and Cheryl decide to join! This Band consisted of the three and had 8 new people Lobo had never met before. They were suspicious but Frigg't liked them, and so that was good enough for Lobo. They ran the roads for many years fighting monsters, and evil people. But as the saying goes, if you stare into the abyss it will stare back into you… One encounter was so great, the odds of survival was against our heroes. Cheryl was struck down in this battle, Lobo left heartbroken.. Frigg't was not the same after that fight as he and Lobo were the only survivors. But the two could not be anymore different when dealing with their grief. Lobo went back and signed up with the guard and Frigg't disappeared. After adjusting to his new life without Cheryl, Lobo created a new gun and engraved on the barrel was named "Cheryl". One day he was called to his post for regular duty nothing out of the ordinary.. Until he got there. What Lobo saw with his own 2 eyes, was Frigg't also with a new gun, sitting atop a pile of bodies and a crowd of druegar around him. Frigg't had turned to the darkside, and so Lobo tried to plead with his friend. But the words fell onto deaf ears, Frigg't tackled Lobo to the ground, his eye's hollow, nothing, dead. He wasn't the Frigg't he knew. But he was still his friend so Lobo couldn't bring himself to fight back. Lobo took every hit crying, begging and pleading until Frigg't couldn't take it anymore and stood up and shot lobo in the face. Luckily at the last minute lobo had moved his head out of the way and only lost his eye. Lobo became pretty distant from his dwarven breathern after that day, unable to trust people unable to befriend people. He took it upon himself to leave the mountain. And luckily he has found his reason to leave… The merchants guild need's someone to investigate about missing shipments of good from out west. Being a Battlehammer, the merchant's practically begged him to go.
