We found my sister’s body tucked into long dry grass under a bridge in the same neighbourhood just 3 days before her 32nd birthday… idk how to tell u about the trauma we went thru to find her and how we found her but i fear what she went thru in her last moments is worse than what we endured… there has been no justice for my sister.. the police turn us away and no1 in our neighbourhood has come forward with any real information.. the police have told us we’d wait for the toxicology report for up to 10 years and they can’t investigate without cause of death.. wtf is that? Some days its so difficult to show up in the world knowing every1 just moves on like this didnt happen.. like my hero and mentor never existed.. i cant advocate for her the way i want to but i pray someone out there has the courage to do something … my anger grows every day knowing how people (especially women) are killed and abused without any repercussions without justice without remorse.. what is this world dude?
