Rest in Peace Twiglet 🙏🏻 unfortunately Twiglet passed away August 7th when going in for a surgery to remove her top teeth that were obstructing her respiratory passageway. It’s called Odontoma. It all happened so quickly and without warning. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of Twiglet, she was only 7 years old. Squirrels can live 15 years and sometimes longer in captivity. Twiglet was the only one who would jump to the boat for her grand finale trick, she loved sitting in our hands for meet and greets getting scratches by her neck, if you got peed on during a meet & greet 99% chance it was Twiglet, she loved hanging out in hoodies when we walked around anywhere, she would sleep in the pillows next to us at night, she was a diva and she knew the world revolved around her, and if you couldn’t find her chances are she chewed a hole thru the luggage and is laying inside on the clothes. We absolutely cannot believe she is gone and we will miss her forever & always.
