This account was created on July 30, 2022. It was initially called sootgalaxy, but soon after I began, I realized that I deeply enjoyed a smaller creator by the name of caitibugzz. She was filled with light, and I found joy in discovering someone I could relate to—someone whose content brought comfort to us, just as we brought comfort to her. Knowing I wasn’t struggling alone made me fall in love with her content more than anything. I would sometimes listen to her streams during class just to find a bit of happiness on hard days. Her streams felt like a safe space during a time when I was going through many traumatic experiences. Her fandom was welcoming, just like she was. Some of my favorite memories include her karaoke streams and the times she bonded closely with her viewers. It felt incredible to grow up alongside her. Before long, I adopted the username bugzzversions. Unfortunately, the caitibugzz community came to an end. Hearing her story was one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen or heard. My heart absolutely shattered for her. Even after her departure, I continued to support her—making edits and continuing to show my love for the community. Soon after, I tried watching some of her friends in hopes of finding that same joy, love, and peace. And although, for a while, I believed I had, it never truly felt the same. It’s hard to explain exactly why, but I came to understand that the comfort I felt watching Caiti couldn’t be replicated. Maybe it was because her content helped me through some of the darkest, most challenging times of my life—moments when I felt like I had absolutely nothing left. For that, I will always support her and thank her. But now, I feel I must say goodbye to not only the community, but my most prized possession in it. The bugzzversions account. This decision comes after months of back and forth with myself, hoping it wouldn’t come to this—because I truly loved being part of the community. But since Caiti left, things have fallen apart. The bullying, harassment, and other treatment I’ve experienced over the past few months are things I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I believe Caiti would be disappointed by all of it—some things even from myself. I will always hold a special place in my heart for this community—especially for Caiti and a few members of oceantwt who welcomed me with open arms (you know who you are). But this is goodbye. I love you all. It was an honor to grow with you and support you. Thank you for being my fandom family. Goodbye.
