About The Game Key Cards on Mp3 Sound Effect
The Game Key Cards on Switch 2 have been mighty controversial since the system has launched. On one hand, it gives players the feeling of owning a physical game. Its still functions to go to a store a pick up a game physically, but its obvious that downloading all your games are going to be the future. I’m someone who always loved collecting games, and even my Nintendo Switch 1 collection is almost all physical cartridges. However, with the Switch 2, and many games becoming Key Card only games, I figured it’s time to just make the jump to all digital. So as of right now, I do not own any physical Switch 2 games. Fortunately, all first party Nintendo games seem to be getting a non-key card physical release, which is nice. But most 3rd party games are just being game key cards. It seems kind of pointless to me if you still have to download the game after buying it physically. Which is why I personally am just going to stick to digital downloads for both first and third party games. I must admit, it is nice just being able to swap games quickly when you download everything. But many are still into collecting physical games, and it is kinda a bummer. The game key cards are just weird, and I personally would probably never buy one. But what do you think? Is it better to buy a game key card and still have to download it?
