I'll just leave this here. I may not be living in the states right now but that doesnt mean I dont still feel the weight of how we (the US) even got to this point. They told us "Its impossible, it cant be done" while Im living in a country that has already figured it out and is on the next phase of growth for its people. Preventative medical care, solved. Affordable food, solved. Housing, food, transportation, etc. vouchers, solved. And whats not solved is being actively worked on. We are a full generation behind and I refuse to wait 20-30 years for the US to figure it out while my health and life were fading fast! Poisoned food and removing agencies that monitor this compared to a country where food is graded on an A-F scale so you know just how bad a drink may truly be. That simple!!! Some products are even banned for having too many dyes or chemicals in them. Every ailment US drs refused to test for or diagnose me with were confirmed on the first visits here in Singapore. 20 years of drs telling me nothing was wrong and it was just depression and anxiety when it was fibroids, bone spurs and compression in my spinal cord and I now need back surgery which could cure my carpal tunnel symptoms bc for 22 years it was never carpal tunnel...but my spine. Unable to play violin, draw retiring arts at age 23 and at one point unable walk, loss of vision and hearing for months. And here I am 25 lbs lighter bc they are actively helping me and Im able to walk more just from the nature of the environment fostering a healthier lifestyle. All this while never even changing my diet. 😅 When the US figures out its childish fights and lets grown ups speak, it can then grow for the betterment of the people and those looking for refuge before we become the ones needing refuge ourselves. #food #foodispolitical #birria #quesabirria #humanrightsI'll Just Leave This Here.
