What’s your most comforting of comfort foods? For me a bowl of smooth and buttery instant mashed potatoes is high on the list. Growing up there wasn’t a lot of extra food in the house. During the summer it was usually one meal a day brought home from the local home cooking restaurant on my Dad’s way in from work. I don’t think he ever once bought a box of instant mashed potatoes, stovetop mac and cheese or Hamburger Helper into his house. Occasionally, I would stay with my Godparents. While they were at work, instead of making a sandwich for lunch, I would dig in their pantry and make myself a big bowl of those cheap, but delectable, mashed potatoes. 🥔 🧈🤤 All of that to say that this Mashed Potatoes slime from @The Store Before Time smells so delicious and invokes that childhood nostalgia in me. My favorite slimes are the ones that mimic real things and feel like what I would imagine those things should were I to squish them. This slime is perfect! The vintage ceramic potato/loaf of bread is from my own collection. I like weird things and I have six of these cookie jars, or whatever they are, all painted differently.
