I have once again fallen down the rabbit (tone) hole… A couple of weeks ago, I was re-introduced to this 70s gem, which inspired my latest musical side quest. It lead me to purchasing this 70s Rogers Kit from a buddy of mine and, since then, I have been tinkering nonstop with my new piece of gear. Here is what I have come up with so far. It’s definitely not an exact re-creation of a 70s sound, but I’m beginning to be really pleased with what I’m hearing coming out of this 50+ year-old kit. I’m also looking to get a stereo pair of overheads for this setup so that I can really crank the top end for that glassy 70s vibe.
