I’m sorry iv not updated in a while things are just hard atm and my mental health is seriously not doing okay. The update due to the Residants Drs strikes (which is do support the residants looking after me are fantastic and definitely deserve better in the work place) my planned surgery for the 25 July that iv waited over a month for was cancelled they tried on the Wednesday and Thursday to put me on the emergency list but each time I was bumped due to trauma’s which I understand but it dosnt make it any less hard on me. Because of this I’m indefinitely stuck in hospital till they can get my surgery done, they have decided they don’t want to put me on the emergency list anymore as iv been bumped 4 times now and it never seems to work out but as of yet we don’t have a surgery date. At this point mentally I’m totally broke this surgery for a surgical jej is supposed to keep me out of hospital and stable (with my meds and other conditions) it feels like dangling my quality of life in front of me then just ripping it away each time. I just feel like what’s the point anymore? What’s the point of doing the surgery and all these treatment when I can’t stay out of hospital I can’t live my life I’m in pain and I’m suffering. Iv been seriously ill now for 15 years and I’m physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted and I just don’t want to do any of it anymore which is so hard because I want to live just not like this.
