Though I have been a painter for over 20 years, I felt guided to start drawing ferociously a few years ago, after a rough break up, and only 2 days before Christmas. It felt like a way to connect with my inner teenager (since I always drew with pen and paper as a youth) and a distraction from the darkness I was in... It helped me transform the difficult emotions into something inspired, and even beautiful. I've been drawing pretty much daily ever since, and a few year later, I'm really honing my craft and having a ton of fun doing it!
