The day after I paid, I began writing this song. I've worked on it on and off for the past year and a half. Originally, this wasn't going to be Song #6000, but as the song and video evolved, I started to feel the message was one I wanted to amplify with the hoopla of this milestone. Something not everyone will notice: Almost every scene references a music video from the 80s or 90s. Each reference has personal meaning—these are the videos I watched from childhood through my teenage years. They all contributed, in one way or another, to my dream of becoming a musician.
