Volver is dedicated to my mom, and to the LGBTQ+ community, about the strength we find in coming together, regardless of gender or social status. It’s about kindness, opening our eyes, and being companions to those who need us the most. These are the vulnerable people I care most about. Thank you, Mom, for fighting for every breath of your life. You’re here for all of us, for all those queer children, and through your time in politics and as a sociologist and mother, you taught me how to make a more fair world: through actions. Your heritage is an honor, and I will fight every day to make you proud. Thank you, David, life has sometimes kept us apart, but you’re my best friend, my superhuman, and my family forever. Thank you for being part of this EP. Thomas, your work and company while touring has been a big support, also you participating in this EP inspired me as well to go through other directions. Thanks to my queer community. You are the muse, the soul, and the reason I keep pushing forward. Thank you Daphni, for making this comeback feel just right, with your kindness, genius, musical heart, and talent for creating beautiful melodies. Since I met you in Hamburg, you’ve changed my life. You taught me how touring works and how to work from the heart. Your beautiful wife and children inspire me, and I hope someday I can build a family just like yours.
