Thanks for mastering odd-meter katajjaq beats—you delivered big! @gingger_shankar, our LA friend and powerhouse behind Sila is Boss. The only female double violinist in the world and fierce advocate for women, Indigenous peoples, and human rights. Qujannamiik, Gingger! Kevin Qamaniq-Mason composed Kaukuarjuk and Nanurluk, and featured killer guitar riffs and vocals on The Great Angakkuq and The Great Nanuq. Quietest rock star brother with the biggest heart and talent! Tanya Tagaq, the trailblazing Inuk throat singer who paved the way for us. We’re honored she joined The Great Nanuq.
