I’ve been keeping an eye on their Instagram (as I'm a fiend for new music) and had a feeling some amazing releases would be on their way. They started releasing some tracks by jazz pianist & producer Yoni Mayraz, which have been 🔥🔥🔥 'Blue Ambulance' in particular jumped out to me. It opens with this hypnotic chordal pattern before locking into the groove. Got to give a huge shoutout to bassist Tom Driessler who kills it on this track! If the name rings a bell, that’s because Tom played bass on Yussef Kamaal’s Black Focus - a modern classic in its own right. Looking forward to the Yoni Mayraz album release next week!
