Owner opted for euth so we carefully and slowly walked him back to treatment. A new assistant was shadowing me at the time. The old dog melted to the floor almost out of breath from his short walk. No noise, no growl, no notice. Just silent and quick. It was very strange and I’m usually one to always notice behaviors and take the necessary precautions. But, things happen and I had let my guard down. This was my only REAL bite. I’ve been scratched PLENTY, and I’ve had attempted bites/bites that didn’t break skin before.
