Ballad of Flowers MV Countdown Episode 2: Raw Idea to Polished Sound How do we bring my music to life? Here’s a peak at how an indie artist like me records and produces music. It can be slow and challenging but also so rewarding! One of the most difficult things we have to decide on is the arrangement of the song. How do we translate my original composition to a more polished sound and add all the other instruments? What is the sound we want to achieve? Since this is my first and only song with stings, we got inspiration from a wide range of alternative, rock, pop and folk songs that had strings - namely Disarm by @smashingpumpkins, Glycerine by @bush, Comfort in your Strangeness by @cynthiaalexandermusic and A Thousand Years by @christinaperri.
