Strawberry Ice Cream Zoom TKL DYNA build 🍓🍦✨ sent to me by @meletrix2021 in group buy from 3 till 17 June! I haven't tried many Zoom boards yet but this is by far my favourite of the ones I own! I love how versatile the DYNA is! You can switch out the screen and knob for keys, play around with different foams and mounting styles! I wish there would be a better solution for the ribbon cable situation, but it's nice to see that the screen comes with pogo pins, so you only have to pop out the top case and remove the screen, if you want keys instead! Switching out the knob for a key is even more convenient! I assume the reason why Meletrix went with a ribbon cable DB combo is to ensure the 8k polling rate, so I guess it's an acceptable trade off. I would have liked to see a dedicated compartment to store the 2.4G dongle, perhaps around the arrow keys. I think what bothers me the most tho is the black border around the screen, bc it ruins the otherwise beautiful looking board! I wish they would either make the screen bigger or add something subtle to cover up the black border.
