10th at @USATF National Championships my first season back from injury The past 2 years have been exhausting, to be honest. It tested me if I could make it back well enough to compete at this meet. If I could lock in and focus on getting a little bit better each day. After 3 surgeries on my Achilles in 2023, my body didn't function the same and I was constantly riddled with fear that another complication may happen again. But with the help of my fiancé, coaches, therapists, family, and my faith, I grew in confidence to keep pushing forward and (thankfully) achieve this goal. If you're reading this, I'm deeply grateful for your part in this journey. We made it back! I get asked often, "Do you feel 100% back?" Not quite.. But I have my incredible team that will help me retrain my body to be the best it's able to be. This adversity with my achilles has taught me not just about my body, but about resilience, patience, and finding new ways to grow. I'm confident that I'll be able to compete with the best in the world again Right now, l'm excited for some time off to finally take a breath of rest but l'm looking forward to having a proper season of training this coming year.
