It betrayed me, I could not sing without crying silent tears. So I stopped because I couldn’t explain my physiological reactions to people. The keys became places I never wanted my fingers touch again. That piano sat in my living room for 5 years. Now at my grandparents, I see it every year. But this year, I wasn’t alone. I had my voice again. I can sing again.
