Basically, the plot is- post cannon the rottmnt moive and 18!mikey gets ptsd flashbacks of the Kraang and accidentally teleports himself to the 2012 universe. ‼️SPOILERS‼️ima rant about this fic for a sec- ITS SOOOO FLIPPING GOOD!! for about the first 15-10 chapters, 18mikey doesn’t immediately meet the 12!brothers. It’s him slowly Adjusting to the world and trying to go back to his own world by himself, but when tha fails he meets the 12!brothers. It has 36 chapters, and 3 arcs. The slow burn is SO GOOD. We get a few different POV’s from a characters, but it’s mostly 18!mikey. In chapter 8 is when 18!mikey meets 12!karai for the first time, she almost kidnaps him before the others rescue him. But he’s never told who she was so he just assumed that she was just some foot soldier. Then in chapter 14 is when rise!mikey officially meets karai- this is straight from the fic!!!!! - “Against his will Mikey lowers his weapons, staring wide-eyed at the woman in front of him (Karai, this was her, she’s still alive here–). He supposes now that he knows, Mikey can see some resemblance to his Gram Gram, but why was she fighting against him and her family? Why was she part of the Foot Clan? Unbidden tears start to flood his eyes as even more similarities start to draw his attention.
