So what’s another lens we can use to relate to our creativity? What has supported me in moving through creative blocks is being more relational with my creativity, focusing more on the journey, and tracking the somatic signals my body is sending me throughout. Sometimes the question isn’t do I push through this block or not? Sometimes it’s do I need to switch to another project? Am I being a perfectionist about this project instead of letting things flow? Have I taken the time to fill my cup so I have more to pour into this project? Taking the time to reflect on how you’re relating to your creativity can provide clarity on how to move forward without forcing things.
