For more context, and gonna be explained later (?, Tsukasa hasn’t found Rui’s reincarnation since his death. Rui then realizes he might have fallen hard for the dragon deity because he shines like the sun. A small note, Rui is exactly like in canon, this happens after a few months he got transferred to kamikou and he meets Tsukasa in the Kyoto school trip (not gonna draw this but if i ever write down the multi chapter fanfic, you will know HOW exactly they met), so this happens almost a month later of them meeting. Rui is more friendly on this au, and he is friends with all the people he knows on this same point, however, he is still a loner til he meets Tsukasa. Tsukasa is fine by Rui’s requests because they meet everyday at the rooftop (only when there’s no around for obvious reasons).
