About Working on a new, very Mp3 Sound Effect
Working on a new, very ugly track. It's supposed to be very ugly in the end. The idea is to record multiple tape loops, all different lengths. Some have percussion elements in them. Some drones. Some weird sounds like you are hearing right now. This is a simple eurorack patch. Crossmodulating the VCOs, using random gates on the Strike input of Optomix and all that into Strega for space and delay. So not much going on, but it works. And of course that's looped on the tape machine. I wanted to create something that's A) ugly and B) kinda like a hate child between Einstürzende Neubauten and Throbbing Gristle. So, more is coming.
