Demo of Algonaut Atlas 2 AI-Generated Drumkits with #maschine What does @Algonaut's Atlas 2 have to do with MIDI Designer Pro X? Nothing yet! But we've been told that nearly EVERYTHING will be MIDI mappable in the future. In the meantime, this thing is awesome and an extremely useful plugin. It has several functions but the one we're swooning over is its ability to create a Map of your samples and then create drum kits based on that map. It knows which kicks go with which hi-hats, snares, etc. etc. This is amazing if you've been avoiding making kits by hand forever (as I have!). We haven't found good videos on how to set it up in Maschine so we'll hopefully do another video soon showing that workflow. And just in case somebody at Algonaut reads this: if we could export these kits to Maschine groups (.mxgrp) in some future, that would be fabulous.
