About Introducing Loftia’s new mini-game: don’t Mp3 Sound Effect
Introducing Loftia’s new mini-game: don’t drop the ball!! 💪🏐 All you have to do is reach the ball before it touches the ground, but it’s harder than it looks 👀 The higher you score, the faster the ball bounces, and there’s no control over where the ball goes either (not yet anyway, but might be something we add)! Other players can join you and help you achieve a high score, but they can also throw their own ball too 🤭 Achieving high scores will also unlock cool skins and special ball vfx, which is pretty fun! So, why this feature? Well one of our favorite aspects of MMOs are social mini-games, especially like the ones in Club Penguin and Maple Story. We call them “social toys”, where you can easily engage in a short play sessions by yourself, or with people around you! These toys don’t have anything to do with the core game loop, and just exist as a stand alone feature, so it’s something you can do for fun 🤗 We’ve been working on this feature for a little while now and it’s come a long way. We’re still adjusting the physics and constraints of the ball, to make sure that it’s not too hard or too easy. So let us know your thoughts, and what else we should add to this!
