Not only did I get a divorce during NP school but I also was having issues with bleeding which led to biopsy of uterus. The nurse called me and told me that based on the results, I was going to have to see an oncologist. She scheduled an appointment with the GYN who had both a negative and positive test results with both my name and DOB which she couldn’t explain. She left the room and was gone for what seemed like 3 days but came back and said it was the negative results. when I asked her what she would attribute to the bleeding and filled uterus, she said we would have to continue to monitor. No ma’am, we would NOT and so on my way out, I set up an appointment with a new GYN who did a DNC and a biopsy which turned out to be uterine hyperplasia but due to the stress, I failed a class and had to repeat it. Despite it all, I graduated with honors from the program 💪.
