The staff, the volunteers, the small details — free laundry, soap, food, books, and family-centered projects — reminded me I wasn’t fighting by myself. And then there were Fridays — a simple gift, yet so meaningful — an all-you-can-eat McDonald’s buffet that made me feel celebrated instead of weighed down by illness and responsibility. It felt like a hotel, but it was more than that. It was a community of families, all enduring their own hardships, yet bound together by love, courage, and resilience. I saw tiny warriors fighting battles bigger than themselves, and parents carrying burdens that should break them — yet we all held each other up. 💛 From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ronald McDonald House Charities.
